Define activity before choosing a route
Describe the work, clients, location and payer. Remote work, local employment and operating a business should not be treated as the same activity.
Review status and work rights separately
Separate visa, permitted stay, work permission and employer or company conditions. Property ownership or long-term status should not be read as permission for every type of work.
Company structure and real operations
Review licences, foreign-ownership restrictions, actual ownership and management. Do not use nominee structures to evade restrictions; obtain local advice for the specific business before investing.
