IMMIGRATION & GLOBAL RESIDENCY

A considered move.

五年总成本:身份规划不能只看办理费

02 / THE NEXT STEPS

Know what comes next.

  1. 01

    Share your priorities

Tell us your preferred destination, broad goals and timing. Avoid sending sensitive documents with a first enquiry.

  2. 02

    Clarify the engagement

Confirm who will advise you, jurisdiction coverage, fees and the scope of work before proceeding.

  3. 03

    Plan the next steps

Once an engagement is agreed, establish the relevant document requirements, responsibilities and review milestones.

Clarity before commitment.

Before engaging any adviser, ask for the responsible professional’s name, practising jurisdiction, written scope and fee terms. A consultation request does not create a lawyer–client relationship.

03 / COMMON QUESTIONS

A better-informed first conversation.

Do I need to choose a country first?

No. You can start with your goals and discuss which jurisdictions warrant further research. The firm must confirm where it can provide or coordinate support.

What should I send in my first enquiry?

Share only a brief outline, your preferred destination if known and a suitable way to contact you. Do not email passports, bank statements or sensitive case files before a suitable document channel is agreed.

Are fees or approval timelines fixed?

Ask for a written explanation of professional fees, government charges and any third-party costs. Processing times and decisions are controlled by the relevant authorities; no outcome is guaranteed.

Does residency resolve my tax position?

An immigration plan is not a tax assessment. Discuss tax questions separately with an appropriately qualified adviser in the relevant jurisdictions.
